In
the past, we’ve expressed a certain amount of reluctance
in recommending FirePay to JoeWager.com visitors. In response
to that position, we present the following conversation between
JoeWager.com and FirePay’s Director of Marketing.

We Speak with FirePay's Director of Marketing
JoeWager.com:
We're
uncomfortable with the number of reports of shady dealings
and horrible customer service on the part of FirePay. With
the ease and relative security of NETeller or WU, we say
best to pursue other offshore funding methods.
FirePay
Director of Marketing:
I
have read your review of Neteller, Western Union and Prepaid
ATM on http://www.joewager.com/offshore-transactions.htm.
Although I can understand that you are recommending Neteller
to your site’s visitors, I also believe that you may
be misleading your users about FirePay. Note that FirePay’s
customer service is better than ever, and is quickly becoming
one of our strongest points among merchants.
FirePay
has certainly come a long way since its inception a little
while back. In case you have not used it or heard about
the changes we have made, FirePay has been receiving some
great reviews and is being recognized by merchants amongst
the top non-credit card deposit methods. You may even notice
that many merchants have updated their sites to better reflect
the changes and improvements we have recently introduced.
Not
only that, we have seen a tremendous amount of migration
over from other web based accounts, mainly due to our offer
of real-time access to funds (once a bank account is validated,
which usually takes 2 days).
I
would like to personally invite you to give FirePay a chance,
open and validate an account; I would love to get your feedback.
Our merchants and users seem to love the speed and the real
time access to funds, as well as the fact that payouts (for
amounts greater than initial deposits) are sent back to
FirePay accounts in real time. Also note that, to have real
time access to deposits, our members need only pay a flat
fee of $1.50, where Neteller charges 8.9% of the deposit
amount, which is rather hefty.
Would
you be willing to give us a try?
JoeWager.com:
Our
reviews and research are based on firsthand information,
the experiences of our friends and coworkers as well as
current “web chatter” with regards to a particular
organization or service.
In
the case of FirePay, our initial firsthand experience was
riddled with poor customer service and difficulty receiving
our payouts. In addition, we seen a fairly large number
of similar complaints recently on the various web forums
and newsgroups we monitor.
However,
our review process is continuous. We constantly revisit
our previously-reviewed organizations in order to provide
our visitors with the most up-to-date information possible.
In light of your letter, we will make a point of testing
the FirePay “waters” again in short order and,
should our findings change, we’ll update our site
accordingly.
