Offshore Sportsbook Reviews - Incomplete / Questionable
The sportsbooks appearing on our "incomplete/questionable"
list represent offshore betting shops that, for one reason
or another, do not yet merit placement on our Full
Recommended List, nor do they necessarily rate placement
on the JoeWager blacklist, either.
In most cases, this is simply because
we have not yet completed our full review and rating of
a given sportsbook. In other instances, we’ve seen
reports related to issues surrounding a particular shop’s
payment of players, customer service, etc. and have yet
to fully confirm these findings. Finally, we’ve included
a number of otherwise solid shops whose current locations
make them less-than-desirable with regards to the financial
and regulatory climates of their respective jurisdictions.
So, when it comes time for you to choose
an offshore gambling site, we suggest that you proceed with
caution with regards to the books on our “incomplete
/ questionable” list. As always, we suggest that our
visitors first examine the sportsbooks on our Full
Recommended List.

24
Hour Bet
http://www.24hbet.com
A false front for UnitedBet, this is a Swedish company with
gaming servers in Malta. Better and safer places to play.
5
Dimes Casino and Sportsbook
http://www.5dimes.com
Very rudimentary site and software. A few reports of payment
disputes, but several complimentary reports as well. We say,
“Exercise caution with this Costa Rican book.”

Now part of the Jazz family of books. Mixed reviews. Exercise
some caution here as there are definitely better places to
play in our opinion.

All
World Sportsbook
http://www.betallworld.com
Mixed reviews and a rather lackluster effort at web site building.
Exercise caution.

http://www.anacondasportsbook.com
Very limited information available. Be wary of any offshore
sportsbook naming itself after a SNAKE!
Bet24
http://www.bet24.com
VERY SLOW site. Danish influenced site based in London. Limited
info so proceed with caution (you’ll probably give up
before the site loads).
Bet365
http://www.bet365.com
A UK-based book offering action on virtually everything possible,
including TV shows and political elections. Complaints about
dual lines and limiting sharp action prevent our full recommendation.

Well trusted by the British. The jury is still out here.

BetGreen
Casino & Sportsbook
http://www.betgreen.com
Costa Rica-based operation. Facing the same uncertain political
future as all other CR books. Some slow pay reports. Extreme
caution is urged.
BetHiLo
http://www.bethilo.com
Mirror site of SportingIndex – a European based spread
betting shop. Limited US interest and very little player feedback.
BetLion
Sportsbook
http://www.betlion.com
Costa Rican sportsbook facing the same regulatory uncertainties
as the rest of the CR books. Caution is advised.
BetMaker
http://www.betmaker.com
Based in Costa Rica, this book is in the same boat as the
other CR operations: uncertain regulatory and political climate
makes CR shops a risky play.
Bet
on USA
http://www.betonusa.com
We’re getting mixed reviews on this book and several
reports of evasiveness in regards to some recent dispute resolution.
Exercise caution.
BetPanAm
http://www.betpanam.com
NEW 9/17/03: New
shop testing the regulatory waters as the first officially
licensed sportsbook in Panama. With some heavy-hitters running
the show, one would expect good things soon. However, we do
not recommend that our visitors go through BetPanAm's "growing
pains" with them. Will revisit after this football season.
Bets4All
http://www.bets4all.com

Bet
Tropics
http://members.bettropics.com
The Costa Rica connection puts this book in a bad spot. Unstable
climate for any gaming operations in CR right now. BetZone
http://www.betzone.com
Geared toward the European sports bettor, we’ve found
limited feedback from US players with regards to these folks.
Beverly
Hills Bookie
http://www.beverlyhillsbookie.com
Perhaps a solid book, but Costa Rica locale places it at risk
because of the uncertainties surrounding CR government and
online gaming business.
Blue
Marlin Sports
http://www.bluemarlinsports.com
Be careful. When a site claims to be “recommended by
Major Wager” it really means that they are an “advertiser”
at Major Wager.
Blue
Square
https://www.bluesq.com
UK-based interactive betting shop with a decent European reputation
and little by way of US player feedback.
Bowmans
http://www.bowmans.com
British book located off the coast of South Africa and one
of the oldest players in the business. Perhaps they’re
resting on their laurels, because a number of customer service
related complaints are on the rise.
Cascade
http://www.cascadesportsbook.com
This Belize-based book draws mostly favorable player responses.
However, their rudimentary website and shaky software leave
us with some reservations.

Sportsbooks > Catalina
Sportsbook
http://www.catalinasports.com
Located off the coast of Venezuela on the island of Margarita,
Catalina isn’t exactly based in the best spot with regards
to infrastructure and gaming standards. This combined with
reports of past partners being involved in a variety of scams
makes us extremely wary of this book.
Centrebet
http://www.centrebet.com
Another Aussie site claiming to be that country’s “leading”
online bookmaker. Unfortunately, that title belongs to one
of the other Australian sites, not these guys. We say proceed
with caution.
Click

http://www.clickandbet.com
We’ve seen a few favorable responses in regards to this
book but the Costa Rican location is cause for concern. Proceed
with caution.
CosmoBet
http://www.cosmobet.com
European book with very little feedback from American players.
Crystal
Sands Sportsbook
http://www.crystalsandssportsbook.com
We’re instantly wary of any book whose site doesn’t
make it easy to find company information. Who are these people?
Where are they located? Why won’t they tell us?
Davidson
Sports Betting – DSB
https://www.sportsbetting.com.au
Australian book with heavy emphasis on European sports, rugby,
Aussie rules football. Not much here for the recreational
American player and limited feedback in that regard.
Eurobet

British bookmaker with a purportedly solid reputation. However,
we have limited player feedback on this shop so suggest proceeding
with a modicum of caution.

Europlay
International
http://www.europlay.at
Austrian book with a somewhat rudimentary looking website.
Aimed at the European sports bettor, thus limited US player
feedback available. Have heard reports that these guys won’t
let you play very long if you appear to be in the least bit
sharp. Losers welcome.
Expekt
http://www.expekt.com

place them on our CAUTION list. Residents of the USA are not
allowed to open an account.

http://www.fairdealsports.com
Curacao based book with a past history of limit problems and
slow pay issues. Now under new management, the jury remains
out on these guys.
First
Fidelity
http://www.youwager.com
Costa Rican book facing the same uncertainties that all CR
books are facing in regards to that country’s political
attitude towards online gaming.
Gamblers
Avenue
http://www.gamblersavenue.com
A relative newcomer with early returns being generally positive
in nature. However, it is our feeling that newbies to the
industry such as this are facing a long uphill battle as far
as financial stability is concerned. And, oh yeah, they are
in Costa Rica … more potential trouble.
Gamebookers
http://www.gamebookers.com
Have seen mixed reviews on this book, but the relatively high
number of slow pay reports leave us a bit worried about this
shop.
Get
More Sports
http://www.getmoresports.com
Diamond Sportsbook (DSI) clone. Some reports that these aren’t
the easiest guys in the world to get along with. Be that as
it may, the Costa Rica locale places them in less than favorable
light.
Globet

Goldbet
http://www.goldbet.com
Euro-book with a clumsy website but nice selection of bets
geared toward the European bettor. Be advised to read all
rules, terms and conditions carefully as limited US player
feedback leaves us somewhat cautious.
Gold
Palace Sportsbook
http://www.betgoldpalace.com
We
have evidence that this shop is under new management. Any
complaints we’ve seen on this shop appear to involve
previous ownership … we’re waiting to see how
things go with a new captain at the helm.
Grand
Central Sports
http://www.betgcs.com
Conflicting reports surround this book. We say, regardless
of what you may hear in regards to slow pay, no pay matters,
the fact that they operate from Costa Rica is enough reason
to keep us out.
Grande
Sportsbook
http://www.betgrande.com
High limit book with generally positive feedback. we have
concerns, however, with regards to the location of this book.
Where are we playing now? Costa Rica? Dominican Republic?
They’re not telling us much on the website.
Heritage
Sports
http://www.heritagesports.com
Generally good reports. Unfortunate that CR location places
them at risk in our opinion.
Horizon
Sports
http://www.bethorizon.com
Hearing some positive feedback but lack of easy to find information
on their site, in addition to the odd reports of bonus revocations
gives us cause to pause.
IG
Sports Spread Betting

British spread betting shop. Limited American feedback.

We’ve had some good reports on this book but, unfortunately,
their Costa Rica location places them in the middle of an
extremely uncertain and unstable regulatory environment at
present. Caution is advised.
International
Island Sportsbook
http://www.iisportsbook.com
Generally decent reviews. A paying advertiser on some of the
popular “watchdog” sites, so perhaps some reports
should be taken with a grain of salt. Nonetheless, CR location
is currently unattractive.
Interwetten
http://www.interwetten.com
Austrian book with big emphasis on European and international
sports. Positive feedback in general but limited firsthand
experience here.
Island
Club Casino
http://www.islandclubcasino.com
Licensed in Trinidad & Tobago. Very little info available

of the various gambling forums.

Sportswetten
http://www.jokerbets.com
Austrian book that looks to hold little interest for the average
American player. Limited feedback.
Legendz
Sports
http://www.legendzsports.com
A solid, well-paying book for most sports bettors. Sharps
may be a bit disappointed as they don’t exactly cater
to wise guys. Costa Rican locale leaves us concerned. Rumors
of pending move to Panama. We’ll see.
Looselines
http://www.looselines.com
Jazz, ABC Islands, Looslines … it’s all the same.
Better plays outside of Costa Rica right now.

Sports International

For some reason they don’t tell us much about who or
where they are. It’s extremely hard to trust a book
that seems like they’ve got something to hide. CAUTION.

http://www.majorbetting.com
WOW … they’re “approved” by MajorWager!
What a surprise. All joking aside, these guys are already
plagued with slow pay complaints. Hold off for now.
