Preliminary Group Stage

The Global Standings will determine the top 20 teams advancing to the Group Stage of the Six Invitational. These teams will be divided into four groups, each consisting of five teams. Each team within a group will compete against every other team once. The top four teams in each group will go to the Playoffs, while the teams who finish last will be eliminated from the competition.

Playoffs and Finals

A total of 16 teams will advance to the Playoffs after the Group Stage. These teams will compete against each other in a double-elimination tournament. All matchups will consist of three games, and each side will have an opportunity for redemption following their initial defeat.

The final six teams will compete in front of a live audience at the Arena Ibirapuera, aiming to win the prestigious trophy. The format for all matches, save the Grand Final, will be a Best of 3 (BO3). The Grand Final, however, will be a Best of 5 (BO5) to determine the World Champions of this season.

Six Invitational Analysis & Betting Picks

Throughout the 2023-24 R6S Esports season, teams have been vying for Six Invitational Points to secure their position in the Six Invitational tournament. These points serve as a method for forecasting a winner, as they reflect a season of performances.

Last year, TSM caused a major surprise by emerging as the overall winner despite not achieving a high ranking in the standings.

Considering this, the Global Standings offer a framework, but the teams' waiting period of a few months enables them to strategize and catch their opponents off guard.

However, the event's outcome is uncertain, which adds to the excitement of betting on the Six Invitational. For this reason, looking at outsiders such as Ninjas in Pyjamas – who won the 2021 Six Invitational – and Team Liquid – runners-up at the Six in 2021 – can offer bettors excellent prices.

That being said, current favorites to win the competition, w7m esports, have dominated the global standings with 945. They lead the standings by 245 points above second-placed FaZe Clan, and while we aren’t confident in betting them outright, backing w7m esports at +200 to reach the finals is a wager we can get behind.
